Nats recent projects explore the intersection of illustration, animation, fashion, and visual storytelling. She has been collaborating with emerging brands and music artists on creative projects, including animated social content, promotional visuals, and cover artwork. These projects have allowed her to combine her illustration style with creative direction and digital storytelling, with a focus on creating work that feels expressive, nostalgic, and unique to the female experience.

A fashion illustration commission for Nixie, an independent Byron Bay-based apparel brand blending fairy-inspired whimsy with playful, feminine yoga and lifestyle wear. Nat created a series of three original illustrations to tease the launch of new colourways for Nixie’s matching set, featuring a strapless lace-up top and coordinating lace-up capri pants. Inspired by Nixie’s whimsical, feminine aesthetic, the illustrations introduce three new pastel colourways: Butter Yellow, Dream Blue, and Pinky. Each illustration features a duo of characters styled in one of the new colourways, forming a cohesive series of individual social media posts designed to build anticipation for the collection launch.

Cover Art for Upcoming Single by Daphne Banks

“Boys Cry Too” Promotional Animation for D3X
A commissioned animation created for music artist D3X to promote the release of his song “Boys Cry Too” across social media. Natalie translated the artist’s personal brand, as well as the mood and themes of the track, into an original animated visual designed to capture attention and complement the song’s release campaign.
Illustration Concept for Selkie
Natalie translated the artist’s lyrical world and visual references into a cohesive single cover art concept, pulling from medieval winter imagery, a signature brand palette, and the romantic yet cold atmosphere of the track. The result is a dreamy, narrative-driven visual that feels personal to the artist while maintaining a distinctly illustrated take on the song. The concept was refined collaboratively through a round of feedback, allowing the final artwork to closely reflect the artist’s intended visual identity and atmosphere.
A self-directed concept inspired by Selkie’s romantic, fairytale-esque designs. Natalie explored how the brand’s dreamy, feminine world could be translated into a fantastical illustrated scene, using character, fashion, and storytelling to create a visual piece that feels at home within the Selkie universe.
